Winter term classes begin

First week of winter term schedule adjustment (add/drop). Permission to add courses is not necessary unless normally required.

Deadline to complete check-in without a $50 late registration fee -- check-in must be completed by 11:59 p.m

Deadline for winter term prospective graduates in residence to elect or change a major or minor

Second week of winter term schedule adjustment (add/drop). All courses require instructor permission to add.

Final day for delayed check-in (with $50 late fee). Any student not checked-in by the end of this day, but still listed with the enrollment pattern letter R (residence) for the winter term is liable for administrative withdrawal.

Last day for undergraduate students to establish their official course load. Final day to drop a 3rd course without a grade notation of “W”. Any registered student not officially enrolled in at least two courses becomes liable for administrative withdrawal.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Courses regularly held in the 8-, 9-, 10-, 11-, 12-, 2- periods moved to their X hours. 3A-period courses may either use their future regularly scheduled X hours or move to the following Friday at 5:30-7:20pm. 6A-period courses may either hold class as usual on Monday or move to their X hour (may extend to 8:20pm). Laboratory sections meet as scheduled (unless otherwise notified by the instructor).
