About the Registrar
The Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office maintains students' permanent academic record and provides services for students and faculty members at Dartmouth in the areas of academic policy, enrollment, and course information. This is an office of the Division of Undergraduate Education in the School of Arts and Sciences. The Registrar’s Office coordinates activities which include but are not limited to course registration; enrollment patterns (D-Plans); assignment of classrooms; records maintenance of courses offered and grades awarded; certification of students for graduation; and maintenance, protection and release of academic records.

Transcript Availability
Official and unofficial transcripts will be unavailable for current students beginning at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 11th while grades and records are updated for 2026 spring graduates. Transcript availability will resume by 10:00 PM.
Final Grades and Transcripts
Spring term grades will appear on transcripts on Friday, June 19th. See the Grading and Transcript schedule for more information. You may preorder your transcript and select the ‘Hold for Grades/Degree’ option, which will ensure that your transcript request will be processed after spring term grades and degrees are finalized.
Approaching Dates and Deadlines
Below are some approaching dates and deadlines for spring term 2026. For a full list of dates, see the 2026 Spring Term Calendar.
- May 27 — Final day to alter grade limit filed under the Non-Recording Option (NRO).
- May 27 — Last day in term for holding a major test or examination.
- May 27 — Last day to submit a petition to change enrollment pattern (D-Plan) for summer term.
- May 27 — Deadline to file completed transfer term applications for summer term.
- May 29 – June 3 — Fall term course change period.
- June 3 — Spring term classes end.
- June 3 — Final day, prior to the start of summer term classes, for making changes in summer and fall term course elections.
- June 4 — Pre-examination break.
- June 5 — Final examinations begin.
- June 8 — Scheduled final examinations end.
- June 9 — Final examinations end.
- June 9 — Unscheduled final examination day.
- June 13 — Class Day.
- June 14 — Commencement.
- June 19 — Final grades and official transcripts available.
