Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office

The Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office maintains students' permanent academic record and provides services for students and faculty members at Dartmouth in the areas of academic policy, enrollment, and course information. This is an office of the Division of Undergraduate Education in the School of Arts and Sciences. The Registrar’s Office coordinates activities which include but are not limited to course registration; enrollment patterns (D-Plans); assignment of classrooms; records maintenance of courses offered and grades awarded; certification of students for graduation; and maintenance, protection and release of academic records.

• August 26 — Summer term classes end.
• August 26 — Final day, prior to the start of fall term classes, for making changes in fall term elections.
• August 27 – August 28 — Pre-examination break.
• August 29 — Final examinations begin.
• August 31 — Scheduled final examinations end.
• September 1 — Final examinations end.
• September 1 — Unscheduled final examination day.
• September 11 — Final grades and official transcripts available.
