Options & Costs
Dartmouth has partnered with Parchment, Inc. to deliver official paper transcripts as of July 17, 2017. Two options are available:
Official eTranscript
- No additional charge
- Fastest method of delivery – typically delivered within one business day
- Delivered in certified PDF format via secure download
- Available to current students and alumni from the class of 1986 and after
Official Paper Transcript
- Processed within two business days; delivery time is dependent on the delivery method chosen
- USPS First-Class Mail - $5.00 each
- USPS International - $10.00 each
- FedEx express delivery - $35.00 each
- FedEx International express delivery - $65.00 each
Names on Transcripts
Enrolled students may elect a Chosen Name in DartHub. Either Chosen Name or Legal Name may appear on the Dartmouth transcript. The transcript request pages have a name selector so that students may choose which name they wish to appear on their transcript when they place the order. After graduation, withdrawal, or separation, whichever name the student elected as a Chosen Name remains permanently as an option for the transcript, with certain exceptions. Review the Chosen Name and Identity website for more information on the use of Chosen Name.
