Overview

The National Student Clearinghouse is the designated agent for current student enrollment verifications.

You may obtain a verification of your current enrollment, or your entire enrollment history.
You may also view the following information:

All your enrollment information on file with the Clearinghouse.
Student loan deferment notifications sent to your loan holders by the Clearinghouse.
Proofs of enrollment the Clearinghouse has provided to your health insurers and other providers of student discounts.
Contact information about your lenders.

Enrollment verifications and all other data are available instantly, 24 hours a day, by logging in to DartHub and going to the "Verify My Enrollment" link.

Third Party Enrollment and Degree Verification Requests

The National Student Clearinghouse provides enrollment and degrees awarded verifications for Dartmouth College for third party requests. To obtain verification of current enrollment or degrees awarded, visit www.enrollmentverify.org. The Clearinghouse may also be contacted by phone at (703) 742-4200.

VA Enrollment Certification

Students receiving VA Education benefits must have their enrollment certified by the Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office each term.

To begin this process, students should provide a copy of their Certificate of Eligibility letter from the VA to the Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office. Letters can be scanned and emailed, mailed, or faxed to:

Club Sports Enrollment Verifications

Student club sports teams may require enrollment verification to participate in tournaments, races, championships, etc. Follow the steps below for verification support.

Process

1. The team's captain downloads the Dartmouth's Club Sports Verification Form and works with teammates to complete the form. Signatures from all teammates are required to proceed.

2. Submit both the Dartmouth Club Sports Verification Form and any third-party verification form to the Arts & Sciences Registrar’s Office at least one week prior to the due date.

3. The Registrar's Office will forward the completed form to the third-party directly and will notify the team captain once the form is sent.

What is the National Student Clearinghouse?

Most U.S. institutions provide access to their current enrollment and graduation data to the Clearinghouse. The Clearinghouse acts as their agent providing deferment information for financial aid students to the education finance industry and Department of Education. In addition, it provides certain additional services which institutions may utilize such as self-service enrollment verification.
