Update Course Proposal
Faculty members or their proxy submit an “Update Course” proposal to modify details of an already approved and existing course. Updates to courses typically include a change in the course number, title, description, prerequisite(s), or which World Culture/Distributive requirement(s) it fulfills. Submit a “New Course” proposal to “recycle” an old course number rather than an “Update Course” proposal which drastically changes the course title, description, and other course details.
How to Update a Course Proposal
Step 1: Select "Update Course" from the DCARS dashboard.
Note: if you already began an “Update Course” proposal you saved earlier, click the title of that course under "My Proposals."
Step 2: Select the "Subject Code" from the drop down menu and type the "Course Number" of the course you want to update.
Step 3: Update course details
