Follow the steps in the guide below to swap a course in your schedule. These steps apply to course change, and the add/drop period:

1. Utilize the "Keyword" box and the Advanced Search options to refine your search criteria. After typing the keyword click "Search".

2. Browse the Search Results Panel and click on the course you want to add.

• The Course Details panel displays all sections of the course. During course change and add/drop, if there are multiple sections, you must select one of the sections by clicking on it before continuing. If a section has a red “X” next to it, that section is full.

3. Click "Add to Cart" at the bottom of the Course Details Panel.

4. The Primary Cart is automatically selected and is the only cart used for Course Change. Click "OK" to continue.

5. To swap the course you are adding with a course you are currently registered for, open the "Swap with This" drop down menu.

6. Select the course you want to swap out.

7. In the Registration Options panel, click "Save Changes".

8. The cart panel opens to display the courses you are currently registered for; they have a black check mark next to them. The course you are swapping in will have a blue shopping cart symbol and a yellow warning symbol. The course you are swapping out will have a red dash symbol and a yellow warning symbol. Click "Go to Registration".

9. The Registration panel opens to review the course you are swapping. Click "Submit Registration" to complete swapping the course.

10. To check the registration status of all courses in your cart, click "Primary Cart".

11. You can see the courses you are registered for in this panel.
